Eyes wide open,
Soul wide shut,
Below the Ocean’s hurry.
You find me.
Skittering fish,
twirl, in a dancing fury.
Newly born,
anxiously and softly
awakening by the light.
My wings, certainly expanding
struggle, aggressively to fly.
My eyes open wide,
Resisting to peer,
To see such purity.
So rare, so near.
close-but-far:
You know what I think would have been really amazing? To see someone like Beethoven play one of his piano sonatas or something. Like, to actually see one of the greatest composers of all time perform their work, exactly how they want it to be. Gosh, I love music history.

The longest of all journeys,
Always begins with the first step :)
